Learning at Daycare in Minnesota

This week we are learned all about My Family, Your Family, and Pets! During our large group time we discussed the importance of family, “Who is in a family?”, “What do you think makes a family?”. We pointed out similarities and differences in the types of families represented in the classroom. To increase our math learning we graphed who had pets and what types of pets. My Family, Your Family, and Pets Learning Objectives:

Participate in group music activities.
Begin to identify similarities and differences.
Identify letters in name; Recognize her name in print.
Understand family relationships
Learn how families help each other.
Recognize the feelings of others through team sports.
Learn more about others and how all people differ.

Words cannot describe how happy I am with this daycare. It's just a great environment! Everyone seems to love being there (staff and children), the level of communication is great, the facility is safe and clean and up to date, and what's not to love about getting pictures of my son all day? Competitive prices as well! I wish that the location my son is at would have been open when he was put into daycare to begin with!!! Beyond happy with the level of care he's given and amount he's learned in such a short period of time!

(This is NOT teddy bear daycare. The only thing they share in common is Compass has taken their building.)

Toddler Child Care in East Bethel, Minnesota

For context, I have three children at the East Bethel location (infant room, pre-k room, and school-age room) and have been here for almost a year. Over the years we have gone to 3 different daycares, making this fourth. I cannot say enough wonderful and positive things about both the staff/management and the center itself. First, the staff is incredibly friendly, supportive, understanding, and caring. I have personal experience with a number of teachers in each of the rooms my kids are in and cannot think of a single negative thing to say. With any issue or concern I have ever had they will work with you and go above and beyond to help assist and find solutions. Also, my kids ADORE their teachers. Second, the curriculum the kids follow is stellar, between what the learn, the art projects they do, and how play time is structured. My middle son just turned three and he can count to 20 in English and 10 in Spanish, knows all of his basic colors, and can sing a number of songs; my 4 year old can count to 100, name colors like turquoise, knows all basic colors in Spanish, and asks inquisitive questions at home after learning about a particular topic at daycare. Third, the center itself is incredibly organized and cleanly. I literally cannot say enough positive things about this place and the staff.
